The Central Agency for Resolving the Situation of Illegal Residents has denied what has been circulated by some social media outlets about the Agency disbursing aid worth 721 million Kuwaiti dinars to illegal residents during 2015 and 2016.
The Central Agency said in a press statement, Wednesday, that the correct amount is 25 million dinars, which is the total amount provided by Kuwaiti government and private charity institutions during that period, saying 721 million dinars is an exaggerated figure.
