Expats in the government to receive end of service benefits

Government agencies have become officially obligated to pay the remuneration of expatriates working for them and whose services have ended, as the Ministry of Finance has amended the rules for implementing the general budget for the current fiscal year 2022/2023, reported an Arab daily. The task is to be transferred from the to the government agencies in which expatriates work.

The Ministry of Finance has amended the rules for implementing the general budget for the current fiscal year, so that government agencies will pay end-of-service benefits to non-Kuwaiti employees subject to the civil service system immediately after the end of their contracts. The benefits will be granted in accordance with what is stipulated in the workers’ contracts, provided that the rewards are calculated in accordance with the decisions and executive regulations.
