KU leaders send appeal leadership not to accept Al-Roumi’s resignation

The Kuwait University leaders have appealed to the political leadership not to accept the resignation of the university’s director, Dr. Youssef Al-Roumi, in the interest of the university’s stability.

They told a local Arabic daily, their appeal comes on the heels of Al-Roumi playing a prominent role the achievement made so far by the Kuwait University on the academic and administrative levels during his tenure as Director of Kuwait University.

This is in addition to his support for developing academic work and overcoming all difficulties facing university employees and developing the services it provides to students, faculty members and all employees.

They pointed to his serious endeavor to complete major projects of the Shaddadiah University and not succumbing to external pressures to prevent exploitation or prejudice to public funds, and his keenness to preserve public money in line with the reform policies of the state towards which he has worked tirelessly.
