Kuwait’s Constitutional Court declaired on Sunday the results of the 2022 National Assemble elections as invalid, and ruled to reinstate the previous disbanded parliament of 2020.

The court decided that the election process, which took place last September, was null and void due to discrepancies in the decree dissolving the National Assembly of 2020, state news agency KUNA reported.

With the results of the 2022 elections that were held in five constituencies now annulled, members of the 2020 parliament are now reinstated.
