NCCAL to launch first official center for Italian language courses soon

Professor Alessandro Massi, Secretary General of the Dante Alighieri Institute, signed the first joint document summarizing the launch of the first official center for teaching the Italian language in Kuwait next year. The move pertains to the cooperation with the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters, represented by the Assistant Secretary General for the Cultural Sector, Aisha Al-Mahmoud, in the presence of the Italian Ambassador to the country, Carlo Balducci.

The agreement will allow the launch of an initiative promoting the official courses for learning the Italian language, to better define the area of effective cooperation, and increase opportunities for the development of the Italian cultural presence in Kuwait and vice versa.

This is in connection to Massi’s visit to Kuwait and inauguration of the “Dove il si`suona” exhibition presented by the “Dante Alighieri Society” at the Kuwait National Library, in conjunction with Italy’s participation as guest of honor in the 45th session of the Kuwait International Book Fair.
