KUWAIT: Kuwait University, represented by the Department of Academic Guidance at the Deanship of Student Affairs, organized its counseling program for new students for the academic year 2023-2024 at the conference center in Sabah Al-Salem University City on Tuesday. The Acting Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Jassim Al-Hamdan, said in a speech at the meeting that the program is aimed at raising awareness of the university system and the various services provided by the university.
Al-Hamdan told the audience (new students and parents) that one of the most important factors for success in university life is good manners, the exchange of respectful relations with the teaching staff, and academic discipline, in addition to complying with university regulations. The head of the counseling department at the academic counseling department, Makiya Al-Sayegh, congratulated the new students in a similar speech on their admission to the university.
She urged them to follow the university. Al-Sayegh added that one of the most important services provided by the university’s departments to the students is the rare specialization program and the Student Employment Program, which allow students to use their free time to sharpen their knowledge and skills. She explained that the program includes an indicative exhibition that includes several departments, scientific sections, and clubs.- KUNA
