The French Ambassador to the State of Kuwait, Claire Le Flecher, congratulated His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on the second anniversary of his assumption of power in the country.
“France and the State of Kuwait have strong historical and friendly relations,” Le Flecher said in a statement, stressing that Kuwait is an important partner for France, which attaches great importance to its balanced diplomacy and democratic principles.
She added: “During these two years, local issues, youth and economic development, including promoting investment opportunities, have been at the heart of His Highness the Amir’s concerns, and we look forward to further strengthening and deepening our bilateral cooperation for the benefit of our two countries.
“We are confident that the new page will be opened with the elections and the formation of a new government. It will give new impetus to a prosperous and stable Kuwait.”
She concluded her speech by wishing His Highness the Amir all success and health, and the people of Kuwait peace and wellness.
